The core object of the Bill is to provide a legislative framework to support the establishment of the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences Iyin Ekiti with a view to calibrating the spread of educational infrastructural needs of Nigerians While balancing access to education among diverse and multicultural demography in the country to context and relative equilibrium, thereby closing up the gap in the knowledge, inter alia, research, scientific and technological needs of prospective students of the host communities and researchers in Nigeria and the world over.
