This Bill seeks to amend the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (Establishment, etc) Act Cap E1 LFN, 2010 to inter alia reflect the change of prisons to correctional services in our laws, make it possible for States and Local Governments who are victims of financial and Economic Crimes benefit from recovered looted funds or properties, and to secure the livelihood of Nigerians who are employed in businesses or properties that forms part of proceeds of financial and economic crimes.
