This Bill seeks to alter section 230 (2) (b) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, to bring it in conformity with the federal character principles as enshrined under section 14 (3) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, by reviewing upward the number of Judges of the Supreme Court of Nigeria from twenty-one to thirty-seven.
