This Bill seeks to alter the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (As Amended) to provide that a candidate for election to the office of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria shall score two-thirds of the votes cast in the Federal Capital Territory before he can be declared as validly elected as President.
