This Bill seeks to amend Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria ACT, Cap A12 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 to make provision for the Establishment of Federal Institute of Agricultural Research and Technology Ogbagi Ondo State. The need for transition from crude oil dependence as the primary source of revenue in a country with huge arable land to a diversified and sustainable agro-based economy cannot be over emphasized.
