| dc.description.abstract | This Bill seeks to amend the Sheriffs and Civil Process Act CAP. S6 Laws of
the Federation of Nigeria, 2004, to introduce provisions for restricting the
accounts of judgment debtors and establishing a specific timeframe within
which the appropriate officer must respond to requests for consent to
garnishee accounts under the control of a public officer. These amendments
aim to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal process in
