A Bill for an Act to Amend the Third Schedule to the Constitution, Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 and for Related Mattes

Abstract

This Bill seeks to expand the powers of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as enshrined in Paragraph 15(a) of Part 1 of the Third Schedule to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended) to include the conduct of elections to all local Government and Area Councils across the country.
