Abstract

This Bill seeks to establish the Abattoir Regulatory Agency, to be saddled with the responsibility of coordinating and regulating all forms of Abattoir Meat Preservation, Production, Protection, before Distribution to the public for final consumption, without checkmating the meat in order to ascertain whether it carry diseases, stolen meat, or involve in conflict including neatness of the butchers and environment for hygienic purposes before slaughter and sell or share to the public within the FCT.
