This Bill seeks to give State Governments control over all minerals, mineral oils and natural gas in, under or upon any land or territorial waters the Exclusive Economic Zone in Nigeria, subject to the manner of such control as may be prescribed by the various State Houses of Assembly, while requiring all States to remit 25% of revenue generated from such control to the Federal Government Consolidated Account.
