A Bill for an Act to Establish the Federal University of Tropical Medicine, Irrua, Edo State and for Related Matters

Abstract

This Bill seeks to upgrade the Institute of Viral and Emergent Pathogen Control and Research in the Irrua Teaching Hospital to the Status of a University by Establishing the Federal University of Tropical Medicine, Irrua, Edo Stat. To train and award degrees of critical mass of relevant Health Care Workers for the provision of Health Care Services in general and to meet the challenges of emergent infections of pandemic and epidemic threats.
