Abstract

This Bill seeks to alter the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 to create special seats for Physically Challenged Persons in the National Assembly, State Houses of Assembly and Local Government Legislative Councils. It seeks to correct the inadequate representation of Physically Challenged Persons in Nigeria Legislative Houses by creating Special Constituencies to be contested and occupied by Physically Challenged Persons so as to be able to advocate for policies peculiar to their members, among other things
