This Bill seeks to repeal the College of Technology, Yaba established under the Federal Polytechnic Act, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 and establish Federal University of Technology, Yaba, to provide training and teaching instruction in every aspect of education and such other fields of applied learning relevant to the needs of the development of education in Nigeria, matters of administration and discipline of students
