This Bill seeks to alter the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) to create additional Local Government Areas in Ebonyi State. This amendment aims to bring government closer to the people, promote grass roots development, provide a platform for more local representation, enhance of citizen participation, foster administrative efficiency and effective service delivery for the populace and engender a more robust and veritable contribution for national development.
