This Bill seeks to alter the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 ( as amended), to provide for the creation of Ikpoba, Okha and Sakponba Local Government Areas from the defunct Ikpoba- Okha Local Government Area, thereby increasing the number of local Government Areas in Edo State to twenty (20) and in the Federation to Seven Hundred and Seventy-seven (777).
