This Bill seeks to amend the National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control Act, Cap N1, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 to strengthen and increase penalties for offences relating to the manufacture, distribution, and sale of counterfeit, sub-standard, or falsified drugs, in order to deter such offences, enhance public health protection, and align with current realities and international best practices.
