This Bill seeks to provide for the establishment of the National Institute for Agricultural Vocational Studies and Community. Security, Daudu (NIAVSCS), to offer vocational training and education in agriculture and community security. The Institute shall provide full-time and part-time programmes leading to the award of certificates and diplomas in agricultural vocational skills and community safety. It will also conduct research, training, and community outreach to address the agricultural development needs and security challenges facing Nigeria, particularly within rural and semi-urban communities. The establishment of NIAVSCS is aimed at promoting practical agricultural skills development and enhancing community security awareness as part of national socio-economic development. The Institute will provide a platform for the training of skilled manpower necessary to boost food production, rural livelihoods, and safety in communities, aligning with Nigeria's broader national development goals.
