Abstract

This Bill seeks to recognize and redress the historical injustice caused by the Abandoned Property Edict No. 5 of 1976. It proposes the establishment of a Commission to investigate, document, and compensate families affected by the wrongful seizure of their properties, and affirms the moral responsibility of the Federal Government to pursue justice, healing, and national unity.
