A Bill for an Act to Establish a National Framework for the Promotion, Development, and Regulation of Aviation Technology in Nigeria; and for Related Matters

Abstract

This Bill seeks to establish a comprehensive legal and institutional framework for the promotion and development of aviation technology in Nigeria. It provides for the establishment of the National Aviation Technology Development Agency, the creation of a dedicated Fund, the development of innovation hubs, and the encouragement of partnerships between academia, industry, and government. The aim is to position Nigeria as a hub for aviation innovation, improve safety and efficiency in air travel, and build indigenous technological capacity in line with global trends.
