A Bill for an Act to Provide Free Integrated Maternal Newborn and Child Health Care Programme for Women and Children in All Government Controlled Medical Facilities and for Related Matters

Abstract

This Bill seeks to provide for free integrated maternal and child health care to cover women from conception to six weeks after delivery and children who are under the age of five years to ensure that deaths arising from pregnancy and early childhood diseases are reduced to the barest minimum in the country.
