This Act establishes the South-South Development Commission, charged with the responsibility among other things, to receive and manage funds from the allocation of the Federation Account to fast track the socio-economic development of the zone and speed up development, as well as tackle the ecological problems and any other related environmental or developmental challenges in the South-South zone.
