This Act establishes the North-West Development Commission, charged with the responsibility among other things, to receive and manage funds from the allocation of the Federation Account and international donors for the settlement and reconstruction of roads, houses and business premises destroyed by the multi-dimensional crisis as well as tackling menace of poverty, literacy level, ecological problems and any other related environmental or developmental challenges the North-West states.
