It elicited from randomly selected principal officers of the libraries using stratification to administer validated closed ended questionnaire. The responses were analysed descriptively using frequency distribution and percentages. The findings revealed that the recruitment strategies mostly employed by the university libraries studied were mainly the traditional strategies.
