Abstract

The presentation highlighted what Legislative Drafting is and why legislative drafters and legislative drafting are important. It also discussed what is wrong with the current legislative drafting practice in Nigeria, why we need “best practice” and the need to apply best practices & modern approaches in legislative drafting. It also gave examples of best practices and modern approaches to legislative drafting.
