The presentation describes the legislature and the various roles assigned to the body. It also highlighted the role of the Nigerian Legislature in the Budget Process under the 1999 Constitution, issues and Challenges in Enforcement of Appropriation Laws and Effective Legislative Oversight under the 1999 Constitution. It also shared lessons of International Experience and made suggestions for reforms.
