a presentation at the 2 day workshop on enhancing the performance of Committee clerks of the House of Representatives, National Assembly was organized by the National Institute for Legislative Studies (NILS) in collaboration with the management of the department, from Monday 11th to Wednesday 13th February, 2013 at Hydro Hotel, Minna, Niger State.
Presentation
The presentation discusses legislative committees, membership, duties of the chairman, the roles of committee clerks, the committee secretariat and the challenges they face. It also made recommendations for an effective committee secretariat.
