Executive-Legislative Conflicts in Nigeria: A Comparative Study of the 7th and 8th National Assemblies

Abstract

This study examined comparative, executive-legislative conflicts in the Nigeria's 7th and 8th National Assemblies. It investigated the factors responsible for the pattern of executive-legislative conflicts in Nigeria in the 7th and 8th National Assemblies; examined the nature of the relationship between the executive and the legislative in the 7th and 8th National Assemblies as well as explored the nature of executive-legislative conflicts as it affects the governance of Nigeria in the 7th and 8th National Assemblies.
